I had removed the rear seats from my 2dr '70 mav many years ago and got rid of them when I moved. (Big mistake) Anyway, I ran across a 4dr in a junkyard a few weeks ago, and I got the seats from it. I assumed they would pop right in. They didn't. The top piece fit after some minor bending of the attatchment bars, but the bottom one does not fit! The 4dr seat is 4 inches wider at the front, the attachment bars are not even close, and it seems like the seat is deeper. Well, I cut 2 inches off the frame on each side and bent the attachment bars as far forward as possible to get the seat in. The attachment bars are not in the clips. They are behind them! The seat stays there but it is not clipped in. This solution is not as good as the correct seat. Good luck!
