Plus, your bumper has already rusted off (not broke off, but rusted off). this car ain't worth any more money being poured into it. Ask anyone who's been there, its always worse that it looks (and it sounds like it looks pretty bad) -CP : : : : Heh, those arent the only problems.... hehehe! in fact, i barely scratched the surface. okokok, i will now list every known problem with my car.... : : : valve cover gasket leaking : : : 2nd cylinder spitting oil from the spark plug : : : everything that can leak is, except the gas and the wiper fluid : : : (IE power steering rack, brake fluid, tranny fluid, differential fluid, etc) : : : battery is OLD (still starts every time, hehehe!) : : : Tranny is leaking out of the modulator valve i think it is, the front and back seal, and it may still be leaking from the pan (had it changed a few months ago) : : : exaust system is leaking almost as much as the tranny : : : ball joints are bad (especially after hitting that deer, hehehe!) : : : shocks are non-existant, plus i think some bushings are bad : : : hole in the trunk where one of the leaf springs is... may poke through at any time! : : : trunk needs to be opened with screwdriver : : : 3 out of 4 tires are leaking, plus one of my rims is messed up i think : : : bumper is held on by bungee chords (the bumper mount broke off about a foot back, it DID NOT rust off where the mount is! you can see the mount hanging down actually... ;-) : : : engine is starting to burn some oil. going to put some 20w/50 next time i get an oil change though. : : : pretty rusty on the quarter panels, bottom, ETC. : : : hmmmmm...... thats all i can think of at the moment. is it really worth fixing up though? i know that if i got new ball joints and new tires (and a rim that wasnt leaking!) it would be more or less interstate worthy more than the 30 miles i can go. and how hard is it to change the shocks on a mav? when there are more than 3 people in my car, every time i hit a bump it bottoms out hehehe! sorry for droning on and on and on.... i just want to have my mav last a little while longer. if it doesnt, no biggie. my mechanic already wants my rear end (from my car, not my ass you sickos!) for an old ford truck he has. anyways, any input or opinions are welcome! thanks guys!
