"Painless wiring" installation

I had a recommendation in a post further down for a "painless wiring" harness. Has anyone on the board used one of these? Any info about the success or failures or complications would be appreciated.

Especially, it seems they list alot of parts with "GM" connectors, but I can find none with Ford style. How does the new harness hook up to the column wiring harness, or does it?
