O.k. I just recieved my connectors from Chassis Engineering on Wed.
I have looked into this alot and read up on what different people had to say about sub frame connectors.First of all...YES get some. With that said I will tell you what the instruction sheet said that came with mine"These sub-frame connectors require no modifications to the floor, and are a simple weld in installation. The car MUST be levelside to side and from front to back. Hold the connectors upto the front and rear subframes to check the fit.Use a grinder or sander to fit the connectors. Prepare the factory sub frames for welding by cleaning them with a grinder or sander. Tack weld the connectors in place on both sides and re check for fitand interference with any other components.(Remember that the carpet and padding must be removed)
Finish welding the connectors.Be sure to completely weld all mating surfaces for maximum strength . After cooling replace carpet and seats, and undercoat or paint to prevent rust."
The connectors are part #3645 and they cost $89.95
