Yeah, a steering wheel puller. And not one of those chinsey things they sell these days. This one was from my Grandfathers garage business from the 50's and 60's, when TOOLS were TOOLS! The only thing I can get the puller onto is the 2 threaded holes for the puller bolts to fit into. I don't know what else to try. : : : Is there some other sort of lock on these wheels that Ford hid?! The only thing holding it on is that nut I removed, and 29 years of grime, right? : : Any suggestions? Dynamite comes to mind!!!!
: You are using a steering wheel puller and not an arm-type right? Don't mean to insult your intelligence, just the only thing I could think of that would cause such a headache would be the wrong tools. -CP
: : I STILL can't pull the wheel off my mav. I have tried penetrating oil, tension on the puller for 3DAYS NOW, smacking with a small sledge, I even tried a blast of heat from the propane torch today. I can't heat it anymore than that because the plastic on the wheel will melt!!
