several factors, do you have space to work on it for the next two years?
do you want to put that much work into it?
can you use it for a parts car?
Personally if the answer to any one of the questions is yes, buy it. You can part it out and get your money back along with helping others to find parts.
: I'm posting this message to ask for assistance from those of you who know far more about Mavericks than do I. I'm looking to purchase a Maverick, and I have found one that I am interested in. The only problem is that the owner doesn't know a thing about it, and I'm curious as to the car's true identity. I've posted some info about the car on my website, so if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could someone give it a look-see and tell me what you know about this car? Otherwise, I've included a 3/4 shot of the car, if anyone can tell me something from this shot. Thanks!
