...It replaces the "pesky" control valve unit without the need to change pitman arms or boxes.I have not PERSONALLY used one on a Maverick but have seen it on numerous vintage (65-73) Mustangs and those owners reported "no problems". The 'drawback'IMHO is their approx$150 price tag!
I have personally REBUILT the control valves on all three of my Mavs with great success...the key is having a "serviceable unit" (boy THAT sure sounds funny!!!)to rebuild.If it has ANY internal corrsion it will be leaky!
