: Since I have done it and it fit fine and did improve my handling (I replaced a 7/8" bar with it). Unless a sway bar is loose it works fine. End links on a stock Maverick are not perfectly aligned, since the lower control arm swings in an arc and not up-and-down. With a lower front end (like my car with 6 cyl springs), alignment is actually improved. A sway bar is not an exact science. If it fits tight and swivels properly with movement of the suspension, it is doing its job. -CP

: : It does NOT fit properly and will NOT improve your handling...in fact, it is more dangerous than a stock 3/4-inch bar...

: : : : : ...will it fit a 72 2door? I read that it would not elswhere on the board but it looks to be the correct shape. I have not measured it yet, but it is pretty beefy, looks to be almost the same size as the mustangs plus one on my 65 Stang. Happy April Fools everyone!
