WM: I haven't used the springs, but I have a problem that I may help you
to avoid. If you have a '70 Mav, take a good look at the frame rails that
your springs attach to. Mine has 3.5" frame rails, and I got the rear
springs from a '74 Comet, and the springs are 4" wide. That leaves a 1/2"
gap at the frame rails for the shackle. I am going to have to make a set
of shackles. Just look close. Hope this is some help. I have a friend that
used the J.C. Whitney heavy duty springs, and he really likes them. His
car sits up a bit, but not at all bad. He says it rides a lot better.
