For friction noise I use Kent Disc Brake Quiet, it is applied to the friction surface of the pad and makes it smooth so that no brake dust can get in small pockets and squeak. Just bend the tabs on the top edge of the pad until it fits snug on the caliper. If you decide to use a spray adhesive
dont let the goo get on the friction material of the pad....BIG SQUEEL!
