302 Auto non daily driver? Perfomer RPM cam, with 4.11 gears, 600 Holley (tweeked) and Performer Manifold, headers, some good head work, IE bigger valves, ported, studs.

: : with gear selection what it is, 3.50s would be the best, otherwise you'd run out of cam before the finishline when racing.

: : : My Mav has 2.87 gears, mild 289, and a c4 auto. Its time for some gears. I'm thinking about buying a set of 3.70's and leaving them in for everything. Or keeping the 2.87's and buying a new center section with 4.11's and a posi. Using the 4.11 for cruzing and then swaping the 2.87 in for road trips. I don't race but love the idea of those 4.11's Would they be too much gear for a "stock" car? Your opinions? Rus

: What do you suggest for a 302 auto?It's not a daily driver.Thanks.
