a qeustion concerning a 90' ford Crown victoria Police car?

I have an oppurtunity to buy one of these cars, For less than $300.00 It has a bad rod knock. I do know they were the only carburated Motor that came Factory with an AOD with the good ineternals on the Transmission. AKA easy swap into any car. :) What I am not sure of if it is a roller motor or not. Any info would be as always appreciated.
