: Since I have 4-wheel discs the proportioning would be wrong is I used a front disc cyl. The Versailles used hydroboost (power brakes using power steering pump), so I can't go that route. -CP

: : : I just bought a new Master cyl for my Maverick, a new (not reman) Raybestos unit, anyway I haven't installed it yet but it came with two rods of different lengths, maybe a solution to the pedal height problem? It is a 4-wheel drum Master cyl (using it for 4-wheel discs) -CP

...why not use the disc brake master cylinder and use a manual(read adjustable) proportioning valve. I've seen them for as little as $39. Usually it's mounted where the driver can reach it while driving (like between the drivers seat and door sill). Anyway just an idea.
