I was thinking it would be alot cheaper to build it myself, and a bar right across the center of the hood might get in the way. Getting to the carb and stuff. I'm gonna build a templet out of cardboard or wood pretty soon, and see how it looks, and see how fesable it is. If it seems to fit well, I'll build it, and make a scaled diagram. I'll look around still, just a spur of the moment thought. Sawl a mustange brace in Summit, and thought about it.
: However...what about a Monte Carlo bar. I think that is the bar that goes across the engine from tower to tower. I would think that would do just as well.
: : Anybody thought about replacing those big flat shock tower braces on your mav? I'm thing about doing it with 1x1" square tube steel. I was thinking about attaching the stock towers together in the center, and running a bar from the middle of the new brace to the sides of the radiator. And maybe put a bar across the back side of the radiator too.
: : What do you think?
: : Gonna put a drawing on my webpage. It'll be under the "My Mav" section for now.
