Hi everyone. I'm from North Carolina and
I've been reading this board for a couple days. I've
always been a Mav fan..my dad had a '71 302 w/ 3 on the floor. He
traded it in when I was a kid..they said if they knew I was gonna
fall in love with the car, they woulda kept it but oh well. Yesterday
I bought a 1970 Maverick V6 for $600. It needs a looooot of work so
I'm sure I"ll be consulting you often. It hasn't been driven and
parked out in the elements for about 6 years so you can imagine.....
My first question...the metal rim around the windshield is rusted in a
few places and the rust seems to have run down the windshield and I
can't get that stuff off for anything...I really can't even tell if
it's on the inside or outside. Any suggestions on how to get it off??
