I happened to type in Maverick.com instead of maverick.to and got a pretty cool music site. Oh and...I got the carpets ripped out fo my Mav no that I'm officially going to restore it instead the dreaded crusher. The floor panels look awesome for there age. True cali car. Should I grind away or try to neutralize the rust somehow? I took out all the seats and I'm going to put down rustoleum then maybe a bit of spray-on sound deadener. And some thin utility/outdoor carpet and a racing seat. Do you think a steel back wall divider they sell for the early mustangs should fit my Maverick(1970 2-door w/170 cid standard transmission)? Going to get fiberglass front clip pieces and stay with a straight six(250 /aussie aluminum head). My theory of low weight offsets relatively low horsepower(250 hp). Any suggestions for restoring the frame and sheetmetal would be appreciated. Not much sheetmetal work is needed though. Body is in excellent condition.
