worked out okay, just need a little work still.
If youd do it yourself, pay attention to the turns in pretty much everything.

: i have a little play in my power steering on my 71 maverick.the front end man said the stud on my control valve is worn.while looking thru auto krafters catalog,i noticed they sell a power steering control valve ball stud kit for 32.95.can i just change this stud ,or do i have to replace the whole assembly?i have no leaks, and im afraid if i remove the whole unit,i will get some leaks around some of the fittings.has anyone else ever done this?,and what were your results?the steering on this baby seems a little loose, and the mechanic showed me where the play is,so i would like to get this fixed, not only for the alignment ,but to maybe tighten the steering some also.thanks in advance for any help.
