: what brand and model would be good support for the front end in my 1972 maverick with a 351W? what would raise the front end just a little bit and make the car handle well. right now i am using the springs from the 200. any advice would be good.

I'd just go to the autoparts and by a stock replacement spring for a V8 Mustang with the same engine (say a '69-'70) and then trim it to get the desired ride height. This will require several installs and removals, but you'll get what you want. They are right though, Raising the front end above stock ride height is never a good idea. Slightly lower is better. In any event be careful when compressing any spring, because the force it can generate if it gets loose can maim or worse.
