i learned something new this weekend. it seems that pantera guys who want to run big motors look for EXTREMELY RARE small bellhousing versions of the 400(!?) installed only in 1973 torinos w/the FMX trans, and are henceforth referred to as the "FMX" blocks. these are also supposed to have "dual pattern" motor mount bosses w/ both 400/351m and 351c/windsor style bosses.they are pulling 600+ hp and 570+ ft/lbs torque w/ 4 barrel quench heads, among other mods.
