I have thought about putting a set of "lift arms" on mine like they use on the hatchbacks on cars. I know ford explorers use them for the hoods, so I think it would be pretty easy to adapt to a Maverick hood. If I ever do it, I will let you all know.

: Has anyone ever tried using spring-assisted hood hinges on a Maverick? If so, what's the best donor to get those from? Or is it possible to modify Maverick hinges to add springs? Thanks.
