Jonathan,

The 400 is a stroked 351M, not 351C. So one more thing to consider is that the 351M and the 400 use a 460 bellhousing bolt pattern as opposed to the 351C & 351W which use the small block Ford bellhousing bolt pattern. This simply means that you will not be able to use the automatic tranny that was bolted to your 302. If you have a manual transmission, you will need to find a manual trans. bellhousing. Hope this helps.

: Is it possible to swap a 400 cubic inch V-8 into a Maverick? I know you can do it with a 351, and since a 400 is just a stroked over 351, I assume it should work. Anything I should know that's different?
: And one more question, persay if I were to swap this 400 into a Mav that has a 302, is there anything on the rear-end I need to worry about?
: Thanks in advance!

: Jonathan
