use the Weld Draglites, or similiar rims with a 3 1/2" offset. Get 3" wheel studs, and use MT 28x10x15". Air pressure will also make a big difference. start with 16PSI and work down 1/4lb at a time. Rear springs and ladder/traction bars will help.
: For you guys running slicks, how wide can you cram in the stock
: fenderwell? Tiresize? Rim offset and size? I'm thinking of some
: 26-10.5s on 15x8.5 inch rims for now, but not sure on the offset plus
: I'm too lazy to measure all this shit out for now. I just want to know
: what will bolt up. Oh, I'll have some pics of notched shock towers in
: a few weeks when that little project gets finnished.
: This is now going to be a fullon bracket car, so I'm not worried about
: rubbing in the corners or whatever, about the hardest turn it will be
: making is trying to get it back on the trailer.
: With any luck the 460 will be down in it pretty soon, if not then a 351W
: will have to do to make it through this season that always comes up way
: too fast.
