I would pull the engine and trans together. It is much easier. I would also suggest raising the back of the car up as far as it will go on jack stands....this helps in getting the combo out.
Don't forget to unhook the ground strap at the back of the engine (I always seem to forget that one myself). Be careful with the trans cooling lines so you don't bend them.

: OK guys, I just bought DABs 200. My 200 is a real oil burning smoker now so I am going to drop this engine in and get my daily driver back on the road. Anyway what is the quickest way to do the swap. Should I pull the engine and tranny at the same time? also any othe rtips you guys have wuill be greatly appreciated. Pulling the radiator and a few other things right now so I will check back later. Trying to finish by Sunday afternoon.
