: : The Mustang wasn't promoted as a 1964 1/2 either. They were all 1965 models.

: : Anyways, as Vice president of the IM/CC, we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Maverick this year as well.

: : =============================
: : : : : Does everyone know what that means?
: : : It was introduced as a 1970 model,not like the "Rustang" 64.1/2.
: : : There was NO 69.1/2 Maverick ever advertised as such!It was a 1970 Model hence 30th Anniversary! let it be.

: The Mustang "WAS" billed as a 1964 1/2. I'll bet ya a taco on that!

Now I have had many "bench" arguments about whether or not they promoted the Mustang as a 1964 1/2 or not. I have found just as many people who said they did as say they did not. The Mustang was introduced to the public at the 1964 World's Fair, and I believe it was promoted there as a 1964 1/2. Regardless, they are ALL 1965 models according to the VIN.

anyways, I would be curious if you (or others) have soom insight on this.
