It is easy to do the swap if you can find a V8 parts car. Granted, the parts can be difficult to find but it was not a big deal for me to do the swap, and there is a wealth of knowledge on how to do it. If you find a nice body that is the biggest hurdle, the engine swap is relatively easy compared to rust work, and a rust free 302 Maverick is rare and/or expensive. -CP

: Dont do it! been there done that!.Finding parts like motor mounts,radaitor,front springs,differentrearend,and springs,crossmemberunder motor.200 bellhousing on tranny wont fit so add a tranny to a long list of time consuming hard to get parts.find a maverick with 302 and build on it .Its taken my 16 months and it isnt fired up yet.
