Yep I'd argree with all the others. If you have
PS you MUST have a Power Steering Bracket that
drops the PS down a around 2 inches or so, so the
header will fit. You can buy one or make one.
One problem I have noticed.. some times the Slave
will dent the header even if you have this
bracket (that was with HEADMAN Headers). Another
problem I have seen it that sometimes the bracket
will weaken the frame where it is mounted and rip
it off part of subframe... not good. I'd
recomemend welding it as well as the using the
bolts. Also the stock shifter linkage has to go!
Use a floor shifter like a B&M or something along
those lines. I know you said it was the steering
box that was blocking it, but I do think the above
things are the problem you are running into with
your headers. Hope this helps.
